The IDF Foundation has been tasked with supporting STIKes Mitra RIA Husada (SMRH), a health institute, in achieving international standards of excellence.

This commitment was formalized through the signing of a joint understanding, focusing initially on the domains of Health and Education. The collaboration seeks to enhance SMRH's progress and quality in producing proficient professionals in the health sector, particularly in midwifery, aged care services, and public health.

The memorandum of understanding explains a cooperation agreement, outlining several priority areas for collaboration. In the realm of education, IDF facilitates international partnerships between SMRH and similar institutions across the Asia Pacific region and Australia. This includes collaborative research endeavours addressing health-related issues such as the adverse effects of smoking, stunting, and aged care. Additionally, IDF supports SMRH's human resources development program for nursing professionals and aged care services, preparing them to participate in international internship programs and overseas employment opportunities.
